The topics of research in this conference were mainly concentrating on a variety of themes in the domain of theory and practice of information modelling, conceptual modelling, design and specification of information systems, software engineering, databases and knowledge bases. We also aim to recognize and study new areas on modelling and knowledge bases to which more attention should be paid. Therefore philosophy and logic, cognitive science, knowledge management, linguistics and management science are relevant areas too.
